how 2 sup up a gas scooter?

i have a 49cc scooter that just dont have the umph i want its chain driven and is all stock aside from a muffler off a 5 hp honda engine (not exactly a tight fit ) might be the problem
any sugestions

i have a piaggio nrg power, dunno if its out lyk ur honda but when i bought mine second hand no mods it cud do about 28 on the flat and acceleration was crap, but after i fitted a sports exhaust, the acceleration was much better and so was top speed, also if you take out the washer which is in the exhaust just where you attach it to the engine the top speed will increase ( but this is illegal in england) but most do it, thats probably the easyiest way to do it

but there are loads of others including gets a bigger sized jet, installing a big bore kit, switching to a unlimited CDI unit, taking the washer out of the variater, and getting lighter rollers but then urs is a chain driven so the last two wont count for your bike
